Going off of the previous conversation that was archived (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/archive/bltc/Suggestion-Lama-mini-in-the-gemshop/first), I’d like to make a plea. I would like to either have the option to buy the Mini Llama in the Gem Store, OR, allow players who get one to put it up for sale on the Trading Post.

I love Llamas and Alpacas. They’re the greatest animals on the face of this planet, after penguins of course. And since there’s zero chance a Mini Penguin will be made available, the next best thing is to aim for a Mini Llama. Now for full disclosure, I’m horribad at SPvP. There’s no way I’m going to be able to rank high enough to get a free mini.

I, along with countless others, will probably never get our hands on the Mini Llama. I ask, for the sake of revenue, that Anet please consider putting this up for sale. I’m willing to pay an extreme amount of Gems, or Gold to get this mini. Put it up for 2,000 Gems? No problem. Allow players to sell it on the TP, and I’ll pay more for it than a Jetpack. If there were a dare to run across the Anet lobby in nothing but speedos and wearing a Colin mask, I’d do it. The sky’s the limit!

I was hoping they would have made it a bonus mini after spending a certain amount of money in the gem store like they did with the mini Mr. Sparkles promotion during one of the Wintersday sales I think it was.

The Llama mini was setup specifically to be a sort of reward for attending an event in person, doing something for the community (e.g. some made available for people who made substantial contributions to the wiki), or similar reasons.

I don’t think it would be fair to current owners to now make the same mini available to anyone willing to part with gems, which after all, anyone in the game can acquire.

I do like the Mr Sparkles idea — in theory, spending gems could be considered a type of community support.

But I prefer if ANet stuck to making just a tiny few minis available only to a tiny fraction of the population.

Ill, you don’t understand. Llamas are a truly wonderful creature that should be shared with everyone. Anet must make this available to either Gem buying customers, or allow them to be tradable on the TP. I’m sure all the Mini Collection players and Llama lovers will agree that it’s about time for this mini to be made more available.
