I think ANET should make a buy option with the mystic forge attendant for mystic clovers for shards or 1g per clover

But it costs more than 1 gold to make one in the current way (and way more if you average the times you don’t get a clover), so I doubt it’ll happen due to Mystic Clovers being designed to be a fairly exclusive item.

Thats what im saying, it costs more to make them, if they can make it so that we can buy it with spirit shards as i have thousands that i wont really use lol

That would make them too easy to get I am afraid. There is an alternative – PVP chests, you already can get them from those fairly easy enough. On average I get about 7 each time I choose them as the reward from the chest.

Exactly my point – they won’t make it easier or cheaper to obtain through purchases than it is to craft, otherwise nobody would craft them, and if nobody would craft them, there would be a knock-on effect across a range of other stuff on the Trading Post (specifically, T6 mats might end up going higher due to them not coming from the Mystic Forge).

I agree that Spirit Shards need more things to be able to purchase with as I too, have way too many. But for Mystic Clovers that are meant to be expensive and not straight forward to obtain, sorry but not in my opinion.

I just checked the clovers from PvP chests and it seems only a few non repeatable chests give 7. The rest generally give 2. But still, better than nothing while you are just having fun playing pvp.

I also agree with penelopehannibal, sure more things for shards would be nice, but clovers would be far too much unless it was say like 1 clover for perhaps a few hundred shards. Even then only a few people would be able to afford them and there would probably be a lot of people then complaining they are too expensive and not really creating another viable option for shard spending.

For now we still can use extra shards for upgrading WvW siege and selling so that is always an option.

I wish I could turn the mystic clovers from rewards tracks back into mystic coins…
