[Suggestion] "Nearly Completed" list change
All 3 would be good solutions.
People who do play all areas of the game but want to chase AP, can easily have 3 achievements to go after in the area of the game they like best. This would also push ANet to make more reasonable WvW achievements since they would be highlighted more due to this change.
As for me and hiding achievements on that panel, I’d love to. I’m 1 story dungeon away from being able to have the achievement that deals with Story dungeons complete. I’m missing Sorrow’s Embrace. I have to be in a specific mood to do dungeons and that’s not the mood I’m in when I’m achievement point hunting. And I only care about the Nearly Completed list when I’m achievement point hunting.
And yea, I’d love an expandable list for the exact same reason you would.
All 3 options are good, i personally would only need the second, but the third would be nice too, the first is pretty inconsequential to me since I play every game mode anyway.
There’s a 4th option, just ignore the “Nearly Completed” list entirely, I’m sure there’s also quite a few players out there that don’t even notice this list, as it’s right next to the “Recently Completed” list, another one that I would think most people ignore.

I guess I don’t fall under the majority then, I use the nearly completed when I feel like achievement hunting, and use the recently completed to quickly get back into achievement categories if I feel like continuing with specific zone/area/activity achievements.
I’ve had the “slayer bug” for a while too, and it IS very irritating.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Reread my post, I never said majority or minority, I only said quite a few, which covers a broad spectrum…and I always just went into the Achievement tab and looked at the specific different categories to see if there was anything I wanted to do. Then again, I’m not really a big achievement hunter, the only ones I’m semi-actively working on are the Slayer ones, with the exception of Giant Slayer—-because I’m generally lazy…haven’t bothered to do the LS2 ones for Lumi armor, no Dungeon Achievements, some Fractals but only because of Dailies(otherwise I never set foot in them)…some World Boss ones. They’re there if you want them and you can either hunt them down specifically, or just get them as you play.

Exactly. Mood.
I don’t want to “Go for the Gold”! So right now my list consists of “Slayer”, “Greatsword Master”, and “Go for the Gold”.
I’m 250 kills away from the greatsword thing. -_-

Go for the Gold or Lost Badges are always “Nearly Completed”. Every coin/badge a new tier? Wow, brilliant idea.
This list becomes useless when you dont complete eg. Lost Badges.
vote for OPs 2. option
Fight the queens
I’ve been waiting for someone to say this ^^
So today I finally completed that next Slayer tier.
Guess what!
Now the next tier is on my list. -_-
