This specific recommendation is focused on completing the Miniature Set I, II, and III basic collection achievements. A simple recommendation is to make any achievement related mini available for purchase via an NPC trader (account-bound). My personal preference would be to acquire these minis via a currency such as karma. There are several NPC traders for more recently released miniatures that exist which trade minis for various currencies to include new map currencies or a mix of currency items.

You can already buy all the Miniatures from Sets I, II, III on the trading post.

None of the set 1, 2 or 3 minis come from achievements.

Originally they were sold on the TP (well, you bought an RNG pack which gave you a random mini) and now I believe they come from black lion chests (via the mini egg).

But they’re all tradable so you can buy them all on the TP with gold. Some are quiet expensive but personally I find them easier to get than some of the ones bought with new currencies. (Still saving up 250 crystalline ore for the mini Blademaster, then I need another 500+ ore for the rest of the guild minis.)
