One of my fav sword skins back in gw1. Believe this could be a good one to turn into a legend. Now that they continued to make new legends again hopefully this can be one. Even though I don’t play Mesmer as much anymore after they made them completely useless in every game mode other then pvp.

that sword is actually really cool i would hope that in the future they add this sword into the game, but Anet never gives people anything good without shafting them.

I really don’t want another legendary weapon with ice footfalls… We already have Frostfang, the new legendary shield, and to an extent the Howler which all have a similar ice/white footfall.

Don’t get me wrong, the Glacial blade you linked looks sleek and handsome but just… no more ice themed legendary weapons.

Hey that’s a pretty cool blade! But as you’ve been told, we already have 2 “ice” legendaries.

On my part, I would love to see a legendary weapon with oriental features. We already have Belinda’s Greatsword Skin so I was thinking the new legendary Sword could be something more like a wakizashi.

Murasama comes to my mind (because of the Muramasa Sengo that was a famous swordsmith in Japan), Castlevania SotN had a sword named Muramasa that got stronger as it consumed your enemies blood, there’s also an RPG called Muramasa: The Demon Blade and they all revolve around the idea of a sword that has been possessed and needs to be fed with blood. Some bloody footprints would be great and it would have to be a red blade.

How cool would it look on thieves or dark themed warriors/guardians/revenants/mesmers?

What new legendary shield? I’ve started trying to find it since I just saw you that and I don’t see anything And your fooling yourself if you think fog is an ice legendary. It’s like saying we don’t need the above suggestion since there is already 2 Legendary with fire footsteps and they all share the same color red…. You should look up the definition for solid, liquid, and gas sometime.

Edit: Found it on youtube :/. There goes my hope for a shield that looks good on my Mesmer lol. Anyway that didn’t stop Anet from making Twighlight/Sunrise/Eternity and Astralaria.
If anyone can post a link to the new legendary shield I would be grateful thx. I’ll probably look a bit longer for it.

You would think it would be put on the legendary page of the gw2wiki. However it wasn’t and unless you new the name you wouldn’t be able to find it there. So I had to google it.

It appears that if a legendary was silly in the first set, then the second set is more classic sort of weapon, and vice versa. So Flame Seeker Prophecies was a serious design, and we have that baby quaggan thing for the second shield. So I doubt they will have a serious sword for the next set. Since Bolt had a classic design the next legendary sword is bound to be silly and fantastical
