Suggestion: New way to obtain HoT Legendaries

This. I posted it in the other thread too… Just add precursors as drops and be done with it. In fact if they did that I’d actually consider making a legendary again.
I don’t know how far the team got with the designing of the actual weapons.
They didn’t get anywhere, it was all just smoke, mirriors and broken promises.

That’s what I think they should do for the remainder of this set of new Legendaries. Make the precursors drops, the completed Legendary not sellable and wait till later to do precursor crafting.

Is this really the truth? If it is, is quite amateurish of them.
I would understand if they needed a lore chapter completed in mind from where they would feed off to design the weapons, following a theme, but if they do not come even with a pre-design that is just lazy creation, obnoxious I would say for people who bought the game.
Most users are just looking for the skin anyway, I would be completely fine to follow
the old school system of recipes and collect mats if I really wanted a legendary, but when you don’t even have an idea where to start from that is offensively ridiculous.
