I think all projectiles that fly beyond their effective range such as fire balls and arrows should do glancing after passing effective range. For example skill 1-3 on a longbow ranger would do glancing blows past 1500 range(1200 if not traited for range). I believe this change only makes since as the projectiles are losing momentum and such.

Dude, its magic. Do rangers actually carry arrows? No, when they pull that string a magic, physical arrow appears via magic, that magic arrow runs out of juice at a specific range, then poof it magically disappears. This game is filled with magic, though it’s just not as pronounced as other games, it’s still there.

Don’t ever stop believing in the Magic.

But… Whyyy??? It’d be a nice touch and all but there’s absolutely no reason for them to actually do so.

Last I checked, here it’s more common for arrows to gain momentum than lose it with increased range. Where else do attacks gain damage with distance?
