Hi! I want only to give a suggestion about Permanent Gathering Tools. In my opinion it’s really difficult to sell other of this tools nowadays cause they don’t give extra loot like the watchwork ones. Anyone wants that pick cause it gives sprocket and has a cool cinematic, but if u want to sell one with great cinematic and no extra loot, the players thinks “oh, it doesn’t matter, i’ll wait for the next one with extra loot, cause they did it once, so it must happen again”. All people who had bough Permanent Tools previously felt really unhappy to have spent resources in something that now is worse in respect of the watchwork ones.
What can we do so?
Deprived watchwork of extra loot it can be possible, people would ask for refund or the chance to trade it for one other tools which cinematics they like more. (also the price of sprocke woulg increase a lot)
The next tools need the extra loot right, but the previously sold?
My suggestion is really simple: let ALL the Permanent tools give extra loot.
Everyone would be happy!
I know someone probably is thinking “yeah let this become a pay for win!” but in my opinion this is not the case. To refund a permanent tools and begin to make profit with it means u need to harvest so much nodes that it’s really difficult to say that one can become rich with that.
I would add to this thread an opinion poll, but i don’t know if it’s possibl, so i hope someone agree with me with a post. Thank you for your attention!

I agree, change the previous/all picks to pop a bonus material, like watchwork does.

Sure give all the permanent tools some extra minor loot – and then give us a chance to trade the ones we purchased before that!

All permanent mining tools should have a rare chance to reward a precursor!

No, giving each one a different material would only exacerbate the issue as one would still be “the best” at any given moment and people still wouldn’t be choosing them for the animations.

Personally—and I say this as an owner of a watchwork pick—I think it would be best if the pick was removed from the store, and after a certain period of time to assure that the last buyer has enough time to get some use out of it, the sprocket drop should be removed and a trade-in offered in the same manner as the old soulbound/accountbound trade-in for those who would have chosen something else.

in my opinion after a certain time, all of that mats in extra loot will converge to the same price… anyway you can give the same extra loot to all the tools, also if i would prefered different mats per tools cause this is more themed

But spend 1000gems for few sprocke will never be worth it.
