Been away during winterbreak, but when I came back, I noticed we can now make an Empyreal Fragment eater similar to Bloodstone Dust eater. Haven’t found a Dragonite version yet…

And a cheap bloodstone dust eater would be nice.

Even before they added Mawdrey and the Star, I had more dragonite on hand than bloodstone or empyreal. I’ve got a few packs on an alt crammed full of this stuff, and it just keeps getting worse. Please give us something to convert it.

I would like to be able to make something out of ascended materials that I could at least vendor that wouldn’t consume any other tiers of materials.

I’d be happy if it was something along the lines of chuck four stacks of Bloodstone Dust or Dragonite Ore into the Mystic toilet (or two/three stacks and some other items) and have the chance of an ascended recipe, a few unidentified dyes or a weapon/armour of description.

If you drag 1 stack of any ascended material out of your inventory and press ok, you get awarded with 1 free inventory space.

Isnt that awesome?

Honestly I would rather see a vendor value added to them and coding that allowed them to be sold to the vendor using the “sell junk” button.

Barring that an option to block non-sellable crafting materials from being picked up. As it stands the existence of these mats means another chore to keep inventory space open, without any benefit, for me.

In general, I think adding vendors like they did for 4 Winds festival would’ve been better than what we have now. Donate excess ascended mats to help rebuild LA, what the vendor would give in return, no idea.

No! One day I might get a blue for this stack. Maybe even a green. How can I possibly delete when such treasures await me? I might have to wait months. I might tie up all my inventory for a year or more but one day my green will come. (Walks off mumbling to herself about crazy suggestions).

I would like to be able to transmute from one color to another. Got plenty of red and yellow, need some blue. Funny I have the Star of Gratitude and nothing to feed to it!

Probably, and it was sure nice to see them tone it down a bunch to make the Star. Honestly, time gated daily items from too many parts of the game just make my eyes water. I won’t be making Mawdrey just because of that.

I don’t think there is really any negative effect if Anet decides to push this thru, so I hope we’ll see it soon.

I’m sure that a Dragonite eater is coming sooner or later. It works out just fine for me, as I’ve finished making my Bloodstone and Empyreal stockpiles, but am still finishing off my Dragonite Ingot stockpile.

At this point, they should just sell Mawdry II for a boatload of laurels.

Still waiting for it Anet! I thought the most recent patch would have already implemented this, but alas, it’s not.

I agree with some suggestions, to just sell a Dragonite Eater, maybe use Karma, Laurels, Gold, Merits, heck, any current “currency” plus Gold. It would be even awesome if Anet’s going to have the cost of Dragonite eater be payable with 1k Dragonite too.

Suggestion:

• Make a new image/icon/decal for Dragonite Eater
• Copy the existing Mawdrey/Star code
• Modify it so that it eats Dragonite instead of Blood/Emp Frags
• Add this item to one of the vendor at L.A.
