Suggestion - Purchase Levels
Why do i have only a “+1” choice and not a “-1” aswell?
(this is how i feel about purchaseing lvls)
“We are now! We are forever!”
1) Boo for pay to win
2) You can always play around with a class in sPvP
3) You can buy gems, convert to gold, and craft
4) If you play around in sPvP, you can use that glory to buy tomes

You already can buy levels. You just buy gold, then buy mats from the TP and craft through levels.
=P
you can already buy levels for your pve characters trough pvp. 1500 glory and 20 silver per level. also crafting your way to 80 cant be done for now since you only get 7 lvls for reaching 400 since the cap was moved up to 500. once cooking and jeweler are 500 you could but it would be VERY expensive, towards 1000 gold i’d say.
I’m simply explaining why I’m right.
The game already has enough P2W elements without adding straight up leveling to the gem store imo, but I know several people that would use this feature either way.
It will probably happen several years down the road when population is lower.
RIP my fair Engi and Ranger, you will be missed.
What if you don’t PvP? Crafting is boring. We get tomes and scrolls through AP chests, and you can, as mentioned, “buy” levels with glory. Why not TP?

How would you be “paying to win”? Levelling to 80 doesn’t win you anything except missing experience and WPs, etc.

I think the idea behind buying tomes with Glory is that it allows you to level your toon via sPvP. If you spend 200 hours in the Mists but you’re a Level 2 in PvE, that doesn’t seem fair/make much sense.

The number 1 reason why Anet wont release something like that is that it would devalue low and mid tier crafting mats, especially fine ones. That would mean that any new player would have to lvl to 80 before being able to farm mats that a worth more than vendor value.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
The number 2 reason why ANet won’t release something like this is that it would devalue the item you get on your character’s first birthday that allows you to boost a character straight to level 20.
There’s enough people calling them useless as is, there’s no point in making them actually useless.
delicate, brick-like subtlety.
