I propose that there should be a search bar feature in the Dye section of the Wardrobe (Under Hero).

All other sections in the wardrobe have a search function, which is incredibly useful when looking for something particular amongst many available options. It’d be great to see the exact same feature for the Dye panel.

I’m surprised that there isn’t a search feature for dyes considering that the Dye panel has the largest selection to choose from after collecting most of the dyes in-game. It’s time consuming to find the dye you want to use if you already know the name of it (and inevitably it’s ‘hidden’ amongst the others).

I realise that there already is a “favourites” section to the dye panel, but the number of bookmarked dyes is limited to 8, which is a relatively small number considering the great selection of dyes available.

Thoughts?

That would be most handy, indeed, though one could get even smoother searching if there was just an alpha-sort option beyond hue or rarity. If you know the name of the dye you’re looking for, why move your hands from your mouse to type if you can just quickly scroll down the list to it or, if it’s in rows as current sortings are, move your mouse to the general area and then focus in on the one you want?

It feels to me like an easier implementation as it’s just another order for the boxes and is part of the current dye sort mechanic, as opposed to implementing a new interface in that section. Ideally we’d have both options, of course.

I’m not sure if I totally understand what you mean- are you suggesting another option to sort the list of dyes alphabetically?

If so, I like the idea, but as an addition to my proposition. If somebody has the full set of dyes, there’s going to be some letters with easily 10-20 dyes listed under them- if you know the name of the dye, it might be faster just to type 3 or 4 letters of the start of the dye you want.

However, that being said, even if there are 10-20 dyes listed under ‘P’ (for example) it’s unlikely that there will be multiple dyes starting with P that have a very similar colour.
