The Cook’s outfit is an amazing placeholder outfit for my Sylvari before they reach level 80 and I gear them up with cultural armor. The reason for this is because the Cook’s outfit has a unique skin for each race. The only thing keeping it from being an amazing concept is that all races bar Sylvari just look like a silly cook (bald if wearing hat).
Personally, I’d love to see more outfits with unique skins for each race. It’s generally the best way to ensure that the armor looks right on Charr and the only way to get more salad armor for Sylvari. These types of outfits would likely cost more resources to produce, but they’d be much loved and ultimately well worth it.
I agree with this. I love how the cook’s changes with race (and the never released scholar’s and blacksmith’s too). Though I suppose if the goal of outfits is to limit the number of art pieces produced, this idea might not fly
One dispute: The Cook’s looks fantastic on norns, to the point it’s my default RP clothing for both of mine. You just need to dye it well.
I’d really love to see specialist Asura outfits, with a male AND female design, and no weird squishing of the design and clipping issues AND NO BALDY HEAD lol
Would I pay gems for it? Well, yes, as long as I liked it, I’ve already bought quite a few gemstore outfits
