Suggestion: Right-click item -> wiki
It’s a good idea.
I suspect the only reason we haven’t see it is that they haven’t found a good way to implement it (think of how many times folks have accidentally /kicked someone from their guild, trying to /join them in another instance). The context menu gets pretty long for certain items. (Of course, it might just be that it’s lower on the priority list than 1587 other ‘good ideas’.)

And, of course, with new items (and some existing items), it won’t link to anything because there is no entry in the Wiki (yet).
Probably would cause a lot of ‘bug’ reports. (Not that that would be unusual.) Just more fodder for the forums.

How about a “enable Wiki context menu” checkbox in the options?
Or maybe a collection of similar options to this and bundle it under “Power User”.

/wiki functions like a wiki search. If you type in something that has a page it will send you to that page, if not it will turn up a search results page with anything containing that text or text close to it.
Of course if the item is new there’s no guarantee the search results will be useful because the related pages may not exist yet either, but at least the command will work and bring up a Wiki page that should make it clear the thing you’re searching for hasn’t been added.
