For the most part runes and sigils are things that we can craft. Today most of these are turned into loot that you only sell to the vendor and you have to do that by selecting each one since it is not considered junk though it is treated as such even if once upon a time it wasn’t. That said, is there any reason we shouldn’t be able to salvage them and potentially get back some of the material that was used to craft them? Normal salvaging rules would apply so material lose would still occur to remove materials from the world. But considering that the lower sigils/runes are also made from lower materials that have higher demand it would once again create more demand and value for these items. They would be seen as less burdensome and might be considered to have more value.

Yes please. I hate runs and sigils I get from salvaging gear, I never intend to use them, and they sell for nothing.
