My reasons for writing this post here instead of the PvP section of the forum is because I am not sure if this falls under PvP or Gem store so ill post it here and if it is better suited in PvP Moderators feel free to move the topic. My suggestion is actually vary simple PLEASE I BEG A-Net can you make the Sanctified Finisher look a bit less girly! Sanctified Finisher is my favorite looking finisher but I have been reluctant to buy it because it just looks sooooooooooo girly. The huge wings leaving the fallen enemy looks so cool like his spirit is leaving his body but what is up with all the butterflies or fairies or whatever it is they are! The finisher looks so cool but the fairies just kill it for me . Can you make it look a bit more neutral? Maybe just the wings and no little butterflies LOL.

Actually the stuff you see after the big wings is actually small tiny birds. You can also hear the sound effect of them tweeting when the animation plays.
I personally like it the way it is, more than neutral for anyone imo.
oh I had no idea they were birds lol well if people like it then its best to not change but at least give us another option for a “holy” finisher because when I see that finisher kinda looks a bit girly to me.
P.S I think the birds show up before the big wing.
I like it just as it is, I’ve paid for it to be as it is. There’s nothing girly about birds (or butterflies, for that matter). Let’s hope you never roll a mesmer.
I think that you’re too focused on “manly/girly” thing; that’s probably because of your age, at least that’s what I can conclude from the manner of your speech. I’m not saying it as a personal attack or in an insulting way though, mind you – I just want to deliver to you the idea that you’re paying too much attention to small things at the moment, while the dominating majority won’t ever think about your, say, manly huge norn guardian (or you, if you’re associating yourself with your hero) in a girly way because of some birds in a finisher. At most, in video games such things turn into sarcasm and irony – just take a look at the quaggan finisher, or some pink-coloured norns with fancy mustache out there
And another thing: unless there’s a huge, overwhelming reaction from the community (examples: Flamekissed armour; watchwork pick), things which have already been rolled out should not been changed or it will lead to a lot, a lot of buyers being dissatisfied and claims being sent to customer support.
Idk I like to role play and if my toon looks all holy id like his finisher to look holy and if you show me a pink shirt with butterflies and hello kitty designs ill tell you that is girly. But don’t get me wrong their are guys that like that type of stuff and I’m cool with it but personally I’d like to have another option to a holy finisher and am just making the suggestion. If you don’t say anything then you won’t be heard is all. And you have a great point maybe not change the finisher because of everyone who already enjoys it but maybe adding one for people who might have my same opinion.
