Have the devs ever mentioned the possibility of shared inventory slots across an account?

With all of the cool account bound devices, etc, it just seems like it would make sense, especially given that they’re good with making the wallet and achievements account-wide.

I now have a permanent air ship pass and one of the permanent harvesting tools (with more to come) and I know that what will happen is that the character that they’re on is where they’ll end up staying unless I remember to go to a bank on logout and get the alt to a bank when they log on, and so on.

So much easier to put these items in shared inventory slots and have them available easily account-wide. I’d even pay gems for those slots.

I really wish toys etc were shared account-wide. I have a few doubles of broomsticks or even kites and bobbleheads for the laughs but now I regret buying a few, that or they take up inventory space.

what they want you to do is buy more permanent harvesting tools if its to much of a hassle to move them bettwen chars.
And quite afew people have done so already, I myself still use the heart of mists to transfer my tools bettwen chars

I heard that suggestion many times and I’d love to have such feature, I’d only buy the permanent tool sets, the feed-o-matic salvage kit, and probably a permanent-pass IF such feature existed, even if it would also be a gem store item, like a special 5~10 slots bag that is shared among all the toons of your account.

Not if they charge gems for it.

I want a 5 Slot Belt pouch ( the one from GW1) that would do as you say. 5 Account bound items i.e., Salvage o matics, air pass, toys. Tonics. The acc bound stuff that should have its own storage.

I’d also like to have an account bag like that. And I’d pay gems for it. =P

Though, it makes me a little disappointed that they haven’t done more with the account rewards section. Y’know, the one they stash the achievement-box weapons and radiant/hellfire gear? Our purchased tools, toys, etc should really go in there.

All my chars share ascended weapons and so before logging off with a char I put the weapons back into my bank. When I log on with another char it’s already standing beside a bank so I just press ’F’ and take out the weapons I need. Its quite easy to get into the habit of removing shared items prior to logging off, saves buying/making duplicates too. Lol, now I spend a fortune on weapon skins instead!
Having said that, I don’t bother removing ascended trinkets, armour or back items.

Oh and i’m sure broomsticks are account bound and kites too?
