[Suggestion] Soulbound owner
And it shouldn’t be that hard. The item obviously has some sort of “CharacterID” assigned to it to know who it belongs to, so why not show “Soulbound to Joe Blow” rather than “Soulbound to another character”?
Yes, please. This would be very helpful. Sometimes one needs to make room in the bags and put soulbound things in the bank.
This would be very useful indeed
I’ve wanted this for a while, though I’ve learned not to put soulbound items in the bank. I goofed when swapping an alt to black wings though, and put non-visual green straps in the bank. It took about 8 relogs to find out which alt had done that, as I didn’t remember putting the straps in there in the first place.
Yeah, it’s annoying. Make one mistake by putting a soulbound item in your bank and you get to cycle through all your chars to figure out who it belongs to.
I pity the people with 64 chars.
ANet may give it to you.
I’ve just starting keeping old soul bound items on the characters until I salvage them or something. Do think I have a few items in my bank that belongs to who knows which alt.
So yeah pls ANet.
+1. This would be a really nice QoL improvement to bring in.
Fixed title to make this clear it is a suggestion. And thanks to all for the follow-up.
Even WoW had this from the very start. A soulbound item always had a “soulbound to…” tag in the description.
If WoW could do it in 2005 then surely GW2 can do it in 2015?
Yes, all of this

Main? What “main”? I play all of them sooner or later.
