I would like to see an option to disable my Sylvari’s cultural armor from matching his skin color.

Do not allow the perfect to be the enemy of the good.

One of the reasons I stopped using Silvary racial armor, I really hate how my character uses its skin color for the armor bleh! It even happens with the twilight armor one, funny thing is, other races can use the TA armor, yet they don’t use the skin color

Agreed. I think disabling the armor/skin color matching would be a nice option.

I don’t mind the matching, except it doesn’t match. Or given that the skin tones vary over the body, it selects the absolute worst part. My dark brown bark guardian who wears creams and golds has a dull grey across the torso of her T3. My lemon green/gold warrior gets a muddy brown down the middle of his T2 which just won’t blend to anything other than reds, oranges, and browns. Happily he looks good in dull greens and silvers on outfits.

So yes, I’d like it to be optional since it really impacts the overall look but I want leafy gear for most of my sylvari.

I mean… I can see how some people wouldn’t like it, but it adds a unique flavor to the armor and makes perfect sense considering the lore of Sylvari cultural armor is that its actually grown from the Sylvari’s body. So I’m not too keen on removing that aspect, even if its optional to remove it.

I don’t mind it,but it’s only worked with my green Sylvari so far. My necro is way to white/black for it to match other dyes lol.
An option would be neat to see for it.

Yes. Again, I would prefer it be an option. I get that some people really like it so I certainly wouldn’t want it removed. I would just like to see an option to disable it.

More possibilities when playing with armor is always a plus. I’d love to see it as an option.
