A minor UI and quality of life improvement, would it be possible to include a trading post filter for items that you do not have the skin of? I think this would be a useful and minor addition that would make seeking out new skins on TP much less painful than it currently is.

I’m sure that they could, and it could be a worthwhile addition. But, what exactly do you find so difficult about tracking down a skin?

I doubt it’s difficult but as stated a QoL issue. When looking through the wardrobe it is annoying to have to wiki some stuff since the name =/= item. It also could speed up the process when trying to fill your wardrobe instead of having to search through pages to find stuff you don’t have.

This has been suggested before. The problem is most likely that if the TP has to compare every item it has to your account before it can load, and do that simultaneously for thousands of people searching, it will take forever and a day to load.

If there’s a way around that, hoo boy would I love a skin locked/unlocked filter.

The best bet would be to restrict the filter. So if on a Ele only light would show, and you could only check armor, weapons, back, etc individually, or if its still an issue, then restrict it to per slot filter.

What about a different solution that doesn’t impact the TP as much?

How about having more filters on the wardrobe section of the bank?

-Filter by locked/unlocked
-Filter for gem-store skins
-Filter for BL ticket skins

This would mean you could quickly narrow down which skins you have/don’t have.

Considering some skins have a different name to the item that it originates from, perhaps there should be a mouse-over box which gives a list of items that the skin can be unlocked from.

Then you can simply find that item on the TP by typing it in.

I’d like a wardrobe option to filter out certain skins by acquisition; gem store, drop, badges of honor, etc. Even a tool tip with that information would be helpful since some have multiple ways to get them. I hate when I go Barbie-mode on my characters and find one of my selected pieces is a gem store item. An option to search TP for items using a skin should pop up on right click in wardrobe.
