I have a idea , Why don’t Arena net send out IN-Game mails with lets say 3 options , The player gets to chose which of the 2 options he/she would like to see in game and press reply. That way Arena net can at least know how many of the community want what.
Possible options :
Guild Halls
More Utilities/Elites
Diffrent proffesions
More dungeons
and so on

This has been discussed in a CDI… So the logical assumption is that it is with precursor scavenger hunt (RIP)

People would just delete the mail without reading it, like most of them do when any in-game mail is sent.

This is literally littered all over the suggestions archive. Seriously. We asked them to put in the code into the game to both have direct contact with the players to submit requests about upcoming new projects AND to make suggestions on improving aspects of the game a year ago at least. It never happened and it’s sad too because that would have given them a direct access to demographics about what was the most important thing to fix first, what was the most requested thing to see in future feature patches, what was the most important thing people wanted to see in content and it would have eliminated the concerns some tro…. concerned 1%ers had about people who uninstalled the game having a voice in it’s direction.

but no-sadly they couldn’t even implement that even though it would have been for their best benefit.

The problem is that most people still wouldn’t actually do those things. Rather they would just come here and rage about being “spammed” by the system and demand that it stops.

Doubtful… No one complained about being spammed by the once a month letter containing free stuff from gem purchases.
