Guild Wars 2

Port of option available in original Guild Wars: gear/ability/trait templates.
Now that out of combat you can reset and redistribute traits (in addition to changing skills and gear), this option would be really, really useful. If someone got 2-3 viable builds for several different fights (say dungeon, mass aoe build, then boss, then some event), well, he can pretty much easily change basically everything on his build between fights. But, it takes time. Especially when you do not know very well which traits were in certain setup, you begin to read them all over and it takes time. Instead of speeding up, it might slow down more than it would buy time. And here’s the resolve: templates.
Save ingame items/skills/traits to, say, txt file in game folder, and can load them in fly, between fights.
New lifing world incoming, it would be awesome to see that feature there.

I support this idea 100%. Not having templates is what makes me hesitant to change my build at random and try new things.

Yup, I miss this soo much from Guild Wars. Let’s hope they bring it back!

Yup, this is very much needed. Would add a LOT to the game.

Surprised in every update that the feature wasn’t added or in the game from the start.

This is just one of many threads asking for it. It’s been a while but there was a red post some time back saying that they’re working on templates, just no eta on completion.
