I don’t think it was a good idea to put a Hero Point in a hidden area with several paths (on the map) leading to it, that are actually blocked. Then it also requires high level gliding and on top of that you need to beg strangers with leveled up gliding and a lot of patience to help you. You’re making things that are supposed to be singleplayer for multiple people (Hero Points) and things that are supposed to be multiplayer for single people (Christmas events). I know you won’t change this map in any way, but please stop designing them that way. This is not fun at all and I have no idea if anyone enjoyed it. But if someone did, I think they have way too much time on their hands and too little self respect.
Of course this is just my opinion, but it’s like you’re designing things to annoy your players.

So, enjoying a challenge means no self-respect and/or playing too much Guild Wars 2? I think there are probably more Hero Challenges than required, and I’m not sure Map Completion can only be considered solo play.

It’s not a horrible thing to ask for help in a multi-player game…in my opinion, of course.

Not to mention, is there even a Hero Challenge in The Falls??

Judging by the description of the HP, I’d hedge a guess that it’s the golem one. Which admittedly is a pita, but it would be a pita anywhere else too, because of the golems. I don’t think it’s technically in the falls, though.

If its the golem one its pretty kitten easy to solo on a few professions. I did it solo on core necro and never dropped below 50% health

I agree. A necro can almost sleepwalk it. With nearly double the health pool of other classes, they are tough to kill. Mine did it for map completion. I also soloed it on 3 other classes, on their way to elite HP totals.

OTOH, I have the other the 5 remaining classes who skipped it for various reasons, like got repeatedly stomped into the ground, staggered screaming and shouting out of range before getting stomped into the ground, etc.

(Mumbling….I just don’t play those all that well, but they can camp flax fields with the best of them,…)

What do you consider high level gliding? Lean Techniques should be sufficient to get there. I never bother using the ley line since that thing is unreliable.

Yea, so far I have only attempted that one on my necro because I didn’t actually stumble upon the path to it until I got around to completing my reaper spec. I imagine its possible for all of the specs to solo it if you are careful with your positioning and take down the larger golems first.
