Since Tuesdays patch the looking for group system has been refreshing as what I can only assume to be when someone posts/removes/changes their looking for group posting and while the automatic refresh is a nice addition and I personally welcome it, I can’t help but feel like it refreshes too fast and it almost deserves a seizure warning,

Often times it refreshes too fast to join the party you meant to join because one above it has refreshed away which only causes you to join an entirely different and mostly unrelated party and then you have an awkward moment where you have to apologize to the poor guy you just left, and he may even have to re-list his looking for group posting for it to happen all over again,

My suggestion? Add a timed refresh rate to the looking for group system instead of refreshing after every change made on the page/category.

I haven’t seen any other postings related to this particular topic or anything similar so I hope I’m not beating a dead horse.

I am so glad you posted this because I was actually on my way here to do the exact same thing.
Everytime I use LFG it refreshes so quickly I can barely read a group description.
The refresh rate doesn’t need to change though, just the refreshing animation. Instead of disappearing and re-appearing again it should simply fade into an update.
As it stands at the minute it even hurts my eyes a bit. Its impossible to keep track.

Please please please Anet take a look at this.

I actually came in here for the same reason, it’s more they changed it so that when it refreshes it does that annoying scroll-in animation that makes them unreadable and unclickable. It used to refresh without doing that, and that’s the real problem.

That was a bad change, and it’s made worse by the current nightmare of SW hopper LFGs making the list change every .5 seconds.
