Hey, folks.

I know this has been suggested before, but with the introduction of the Wedding Outfit to the Gem Store I thought it might be time to bring it back up.

Basically: I’d really love to see the option of the old Town Clothes being re-introduced to the game as an Outfit – either free (as the Town Clothes were free at the game’s launch), or possibly via the Gem Store.

The Wedding Outfit seems to be a good example of an outfit that uses different designs per race, and the current Unlimited Tonic solution isn’t too great (unable to dye the clothing, unable to fight in it, time limited, takes up a bag slot, etc), so it would be lovely to see these great skins re-introduced to the game in a better and more convenient way.

Town Clothes were their original idea for outfits, an attire you could only wear for fun. In GW1, outfits can’t be enabled in combat zones. But now they allow outfits in combat zones AND in combat. I think they forgot their original vision with town clothes. Or maybe they don’t think the old town clothes aren’t worthy enough of taking space in the outfit panel. It’s taking up space on my bag though.
