Suggestion: Trait rediscovery
I honestly see no purpose for this, and I can’t imagine all the helpdesk tickets from people accidentally resetting their traits and map completion complaining how something like this has no use.
Just make another character.
I’d love this too and suggested something similar in the BLC forum.
It’s a shame that nobody bothered to post in my thread, but it shows how much of a minority the players who would actually want to unlearn the traits on existing character are
I think there ‘would’ be a market for it, but not large enough to justify a trainer option, a consumable would be safer from a customer service point of view.
Table Warfare Miniatures - Armatures, Custom Miniatures, Moulds etc.
It was suggested before the patch by many players and I originally supported the idea, but the current implementation is a) no new content but old instead and b) a complete mess. So no, I see no point in it; you can just print out the list I linked and do it yourself if you wish to.
However, it would be nice if we could see the discovery requirement even after the trait has been unlocked.
I’m already on the fence as to whether or not I want to even continue playing this game after the patch, and I NEVER want to bother with levelling anything again due to this change. Applying this trait hunt to 80s that already have their traits would cement my decision to quit altogether. If it were an optional thing you could choose to do that would be fine, but if it were mandatory it’d be the straw that broke the camel’s back for me.
It would be an entirely optional thing ofcourse! And how I see it implemented is that you buy a book from the trainer which then resets your progress.
This way you have to get the book and then consume the book from your inventory.
I understand this is interesting for a small amount of people, I just think it would be a very fun way to get back in touch with your character again and make every trait feel special.
