[Suggestion] Walk/Run Indicator
Seems a bit of a waste considering it is easy to tell if you have it on or not.
I’m not suggesting they take 20 developers away from coding “Encounter At L33t D00dz”, just if it’s easy and someone needs something small to lump in with 20 other small things they are doing.
I find myself in situations where my camera is zoomed out as far as it can be and I’m in a big zerg fight and the FPS is low and I can’t really tell where I am in the horde when it would be nice to know if I had left it toggled on or accidentally toggled it on.
Move the key to somewhere you are unlikely to hit by accident. My walk key is the ] key at the far right of my keyboard. If you have to move your hand way over to start walking you’ll only do it on purpose and if you’ve forgotten, hopefully by the time you slow walk to a fight you’ll know it’s on.
ANet may give it to you.

Accidentally was just an example (it happens to be one of my many mouse buttons, for a reason, as there are some things I do where I actively toggle it as part of the encounter). There are occasions where I use it to position myself in a certain spot before a big fight, and I just plain forget to turn it off before the fight starts, and then find myself walking instead of running at certain points and it’s a … mild pain.
And if it takes longer than it took us to have all these posts, then it’s really not worth doing. Just, if it’s easy, and someone is already near it doing something else, or yada yada, it would be nice to have. Not making a “4th Gen Design” suggestion, just thought of something nice to have, if it’s not too much trouble.
Oh sure they could do it. But it will cost us a raid tier.

adding things like that could break existing things, it’s not as easy as you make it out to be.
