…Jump Puzzles???

I just finished my last JP, all excited for myself and my newly acquired title for doing one of the main things that keeps me playing this game aaannnnd…… no title.

Really? JPs are one of the things that makes this game unique! I even endured PvP ganking to finish the ones in the WvW maps! Some of the puzzles are legitimately difficult, too!

Considering that there are some less-than-amazing titles out there, it really boggles me that Jump Puzzles would get left out.

I agree that completing all the puzzles is challenging and a title would be justified but I’m curious, where did you get the idea it would award a title?

All the achievements that give titles are clearly marked. Jumping puzzles don’t even have a meta-achievement, let alone one that gives a title, but you seem to have been expecting one.

I just assumed that being such a major achievement set that it would be rewarded with a title after having been completed.

I agree it should reward a title. There is a title for basically rezing a bunch of NPCs which is easy, but no title for doing all JPs which is much more difficult.

Thought there was one. “something of applied jumping”.

not gonna lie, this is a small and easy fix that would go a long way to pleasing players. I love jump puzzles too. gj finishing them all, wvw ones 2 scary.

You should also get a title when you finish all slayer achievements, weapon master achievement, etc.

Yeah, this seems a really obvious way to introduce permanent achievements, titles and long term goals. I’m surprised they aren’t there already.

Not sure that’s still true. If they can make a meta achievement that recognises the individual ones, then they just award the title for getting that.

Though if they new this years ago, why didn’t they just introduce the titles then???

No idea. Partly I think as with Liadri they didn’t think to add one or forgot. Hence the repeat achievement this festival for ppl to get it, rather than retro add it to people. If they were able to now retro titles…then Liadri would have been retro added w/o the need for this.

They may have undervalued peoples opinions on titles. WHich explains why there are so few.

I really wanted a title when I finished all jumping puzzles, like Treasure Hunter or something similar. JPs are one of my preferred content in this game, still… no “reward” for this long journey…

Well, that doesn’t really add to the discussion, but hey…there’s always gotta be ‘that guy’ that chimes in eventually.

You mean it is too difficult to do a check on Achievements to see if all jumping puzzles are complete and then reward with a title via the mail system?
