I wonder if devs would be willing to make some of the favorite GW1 armors an achievement/collection. To make profit for the labors of making this desirable content, I suggest making the collection/achievement a Gem Store purchase to begin it. If creating new content to accomplish this is too arduous, make the achievement a collection of other achievements, and perhaps a completion of story and seasons. Sure some people may already have this, and the rewards will be instant minus Gems, but perhaps it will give incentive to less active players to log in more and play the content the devs have already worked so hard on.
In conclusion, I would like the GW1 armor content, I am more than willing to pay real world money(contribute to the game), and I am willing to put in long hours of game play with my spare time to get this content.

I too would love to see the old gw1 armor come into gw2. especially Vabbian. While i’m always in favor of collections and actually doing things, with how they did gwen’s outfit, I could just as easily see this being a gem store only thing and left at that. Lets hope that I’m mistaken.
I dont know about being both achievements and gem store both though. I liked how they handled Caladbolg and would want the armor to be in a similar manner.

The lead time for new armor is about 8-9 months (so it can be designed/tested for 5 races, 2 genders, 3 weights). (Yes, there are already a variety of posts on the topic of whether ANet is bad at armor, or if the armor design is too complicated, etc. Regardless, it still takes that long.)

They do seem to be able to put out new outfits about 1x/month.

I’m sure ANet would love to take more of our money; they just aren’t able to deliver new skins as fast as we’d like.

Personally, I’d rather see new designs rather than nostalgic ones, I’d rather see more diversity (less skin for females, more for males, fewer skulls, etc).
