Hi all I been thinking why not give us an one per account option to exchange legendary weapon ? Let say you need to buy this option for 2000 gems from the store and its only once per account, since working on legendary is a lot of effort ?

At the very least you must lose the skin of the previous.

I’m against this as should work towards the legendaries rather than find some way to cut corners.

They can’t remove a skin from your wardrobe so even if it’s exchanged you’ll still have it.

I don’t like it. Legendary weapons are already too easy to get by a long shot. Not thinking that making it easier to get them would somehow make this game better. Legendaries are there for people to work on something after they’ve done everything else.

2,000 gems is 578 gold to buy. The difference between a more expensive legendary and a cheaper one is over 800g so this would still be a decent saving and as pointed out since they can’t undo unlocks this would be a very steep discount for a second skin.

This. Even as a rather casual player, Legendary Weapons (I have Kamohoali’i Kotaki and now H.O.P.E.) are pretty easy and quick to acquire.

There’s no need to further trivialize them IMO.

If someone wants a different legendary, they can already choose to build it. Unless they meant to sell the one they made and accidentally bound it, I don’t see any reason that ANet should make the second one easier to acquire.
