Would it be possible to allow players to assemble their own chosen outfits, assembled from armour skins they have unlocked, that they could then display over other gear? Maybe make the outfit a 5 or 6 transmute charge cost item, but then have it set in the outfit wardrobe. Maybe a ‘Custom Outfit’ item could be created and made as a rare drop and/or a gem store item. Perhaps it could even be used to mix and match town and armour items, but that is probably not feasible at this point.

When levelling my latest character, I was using all pickup gear, and would have been grateful for the option to have a consistent appearance, made up from items already unlocked by it, and previous characters.

This could be solved more easily if characters under level 80 get free/karma/gold transmutation. A custom outfit sounds like it would be impossible to do.

I dont know, actually assembling skins on a Hero panel screen, and then pressing ‘Make Outfit’ doesn’t sound so hard.

And somewhere, the outfit has to be stored, not as six object but a seperate entity. Also, An Icon has to be painted over it.

This would be great, was actually thinking the same thing when outfits came out in their current iteration.
Basically, let us use transmute stones to “apply” skins to some sort of a dummy set of gear that you can use as an outfit.
I could make different sets of “looks only” armor that way and apply them as I move through the world. Desert set, a winter set, a jungle set, a pvp set, a “i got this super rare stuff and want to show it off without destroying my carefully arranged regular armor” set.

the storing of an outfit is as hard as making a character, even less so. (so quite easy)

tho, i rather have no outfits at all and have every current outfit separated in 5/6 parts, the one thing pretty much everyone wanted from the start.
