Add a notes field to the friend list.

I would like to shortly write why I have added a char/player to friends list. Like “ask what weapon; 8/20 16:20” when I would like to ask about a weapon later; date and time is for finding screenshots. Like “in party at Kessex; 8/20 16:20”. Like “ask about guild”.

Rightclick friend > Set nickname

The nickname field has a character limit that is too small for meaningful notes. I’d love an additional, appropriately named, field to add notes.

When I add nickname, the field editor is empty. The previous text is not there as starting point.

And, I did not lost the original permanently: just set empty nickname.

If I remember and write “Name.1234 ask this and that”, the dot is taken out; not a big problem.

Summary: we need separate field for notes. Not necessary a new column, but extra line which can be hided/unhided. That is my final suggestion

yeah i use nickname as well
sure u cnat write books about your friends but…
you should remember it if u write something like accnamenumber 250ektos in debt or acc namenumber belinda exploration tour
thats actual names i have (okay mine are in german but u know what i mean)
i do know and remember the account names only lend things from friends i knowi can trust so their names i do remember well while others get the name where i know them from

a lot of pvp friends get
accnamenumber pvp english/german -speaker good/nevereverever(i have only one with this) and then is still space for a couple of words guild or why do i should remember them i just pick whatever comes first to my mind..

so it isnt really necessarry
it would add a bit to the quality of life changes but.. meh…
