Suggestion to make alt levelling more fun
Not really game breaking stuff. The limits are there to guide you on your first trip through and are cleared very quickly even then. After your first time through getting to lvl 20 is so fast as to be meaningless.
If you want to experiment with builds, you don’t have to level a character to do that. Go to the PvP lobby and play with skills/builds there, where you’re automatically leveled to 80 and everything is unlocked. You can even try your builds against NPCs of different professions there.
never said they were gamebreaking, but they are annoying. what if I dont want to do pvp (like many people playing this game)? tbh if my suggestions were put into effect I dont see what harm would come of it
1. Unlock all six cities on your new alt.
2. Spend 1.5 gold (less if you have a bunch of mats in storage) to max cooking.
3. Enjoy weapon swap and two utility skills.
If you really need your third utility before going back out into the world, spend a little over 3 more gold to max Jewelcraft, and enjoy about 15 trait points and a major adept trait.
Pretty simple if you have one character at 80 already.

You don’t have to PvP to go into the lobby to test out a build. There’s no PvPing in the PvP lobby. You can go play with your traits, get free armor with the runes you want on it, get free weapons with the sigils you want on it and test your build…without PvPing.
Some people hear the word PvP and they self-destruct. But there is zero PvP involved in what I’m suggesting.
Alt leveling is one of the funnest parts of the game. You get to see a lot of content, play around with different skills, and you get rewards all the time (gear upgrades, leveling, etc.).
Compare this to endgame where you do the same content repeatedly and get no reward.
If they do as you request there goes what little character progression there is in the game. No ty I like to start from scratch on all my alts and EARN those strengths as I go along.
Also your title is misleading, I was hoping for alternative ways to level besides completing maps we know and have done plenty of times before on mains and previous alts.
