Suggestion to writer to make personal
Boss is how she would talk though. What lore reason would she have for calling you the blazing light. Boss is more casual, more what she would say.
In any event, you’d have to hire a voice actor to read every single title and then sub it in. So what happens when they have more titles added to the game. Get the voice actor to read more of them? It’s unnecessarily complicated and probably costly.

Pretty Much this ^^^.

I don’t think that this is an appropriate reason though.
i never said about voice acting it was more about the written stuff.
they do say your name without voice acting and lore wise is my title more real then Boss. I never was there Boss Im not paying them nor i hired them.
So my personal development is closer to lore then Boss
I would be against this change. I always call someone by the first and last name in real life. Changing this would be immersion breaking and I would likely quit the game.
The other problem is you’re not going to find a system that works for everyone.
It might make sense for the NPCs to call your character by the first word in their name, but many other people would end up being called “The”. Or something equally silly.
Same with titles. I normally use ‘Distinction in Applied Jumping’ on my main character and it would be absolutely ridiculous for anyone to use that instead of her name. But I’d also be disappointed if I had to replace it with something I’d want NPCs to call me.
The only way I could see it working is if there was a box somewhere where you can type in what you want the NPCs to call you. But that would be a lot of extra work for the developers for a fairly minimal change.
