This. Everyday.
My prissy mesmer and brutish pirate sound the same.
It’s strange to hear and would like the variety.

1. Limited-use item to access dungeons while area is contested (good for party only)
2. Costumes/Town Clothes we can wear over armor or a transmutation item to allow us to give our armor the appearance of costumes or town clothes. We could do it in GW1…
3. Stand-alone armor pieces (Helms/hoods/hats, back pieces, gauntlets)
4. Something like the GW1 bonus mission pack, but race-specific; in it we’d have something extra we could do that is similar to level 1-20 personal story missions. Those were way too short and were over way too early in the overall missions of the game.
5. Scrolls that can be used by level 1-79 characters to gain 1 level.
6. Item to restore a soulbound item to not soulbound status (only usable on items that were previously not soulbound, i.e. not items that came from chests or other rewards as soulbound by default).
7. Armor Skins themed by defunct/absent GW1 professions (Monk, Paragon, Ritualist, Dervish).
8. Armor Effects/Auras (Give your armor a sparkling effect, a rainbow hued effect, etc).
9. Mystic Forge Booster (Increases rate at which higher rarity items are given by Mystic Forge uses for a number of minutes/uses).
10. New Dye Packs that -don’t- include dyes already available in the game.

Mini Mr. Sparkles would be nice. Willing to pay 4000 gems for it.

Zhaitan as a mount

Cheap unlimited picks/axes/sickles without any animations. At $10/~40 gold, the current ones are too expensive to outfit all my level 80s. It would take over1000 gold or $270. Many people have multiple level 80s and play different ones frequently. They probably don’t buy these items because of the cost to outfit all.

-permanent account unlocked costumes (so retrievable with every character)

-guild wars account wide dance pack (all the originals)
-costume in battle token (account unlocked)

Cape. Just cape as backpack. Would require new animation and physix model but how much awesome it would look on some characters.

Would really appreciate being able to preview two single hand weapons at the same time, and also some more variant armour skins with particular themes e.g. my fire and ice themed armour which I spent some amount of time on, which i could have been using to farm for the money I need to get them.

Lets you retrait anywhere in the world rather than having to go to certain places.

Of course, the fee will still be there.

I would like to buy a race change on the gem store… I made my warrior and guardian both Norn and am regretting not making the Guardian a Human. I’d pay some gems to change it.

What this guy did was let you preview any allowable changes on your character. This way you could see what new hair color, tattoos, gender switch, or whatever else would look like before you committed to buying the actual kit to switch. I made several purchases after previewing the new look with this NPC. It encouraged buying the kit as it made previewing so easy.

1. Account unlock armor and town clothes even if it means increasing their cost a bit.
2. More armor skins please!!!
3. More town clothes please!!! (and please, full sets not single pieces, I’ll mix and match on my own)
4. Probably can’t be done, but more underwear choices!!! The default ones are ugly imo.
5. MOUNTS!!! (even if they’re only cosmetic, and I know this one will cost me some +1’s)
6. More hairstyles.
7. And while we’re at it, more faces, body types, tattoos, etc…
8. More emotes.
9. Since I’ve never seen one in-game, an exotic aqua-breather!
10. 20 slot bags so I don’t have to waste 10-20g on them.

There’s my (top) ten list. I’ll probably think of things I’d want more than half of these, but they’re not coming to mind now.

I would like:
1. monthly or fortnight coupons sold that offset some if not all of the TP selling fees.
2. mini pets that could be used for storage or as auto looters (the kind that auto loot anything that drops & i don’t have to push any button or mouse each time).
3. Mounts would be great! Flying as well (I know this one isn’t a simple just add to the mall, but I do so love them ^^)
4. A commander tag dye pack, would be nice for all. If commanders could change the colours of their tag, it could allow more commanders to tag up & carry out various missions simultaneously with a lot less confusion.
5. more fashion/skins for armor
6. Harvest tools be account bound (same fashion as the mf) so it is on all without having to swap all the time.

Not sure if this would apply here, but would really like to see some “gem sales” or reward system (nothing grandiose) a few times a year for gem buyers. If can’t afford to do that how about a couple days a year where if we purchase gems a small portion goes to a national or international charity like feed the children or something like that? Not sure if your business could use that as a tax write off, but it couldn’t hurt when seeking potential sponsors or enticing new spenders to try out the mall for a good cause.

i would like to have a “but more to gain more” bonus, something like buying gems for $20,- and get 2000 gems, buy for $25,- and get 2500 gems.

More hair styles. Its really time to introduce more cosmetic options beyond yet another round of weapon skins.

1. An infinite tonic that turns YOU into a mini version of you allowing u to fight mobs regulary and such BUT this only works in PVE.

2. A book of songs that allows you to sing or whistle rather than play an instrument.

3. Armor skins that have hats that are merely different types of hairstyles rather than helmets and such.

4. For asura and charr to have gender specific armor rather than just wearing the regular male version of the armor set.

PlagueParade, your (2) is brilliant. My character’s ICly been a melodic whistler since before beta (go go forum RP), I’d -love- him to be able to pucker up and blow.

(3) sounds like a wonderful way of getting temporary hair stylings for parties without burning a styling kit, as kits work better for long term changes.

On (4) I think they wanted to point out that Charr and Asura don’t differentiate between genders as the other races do. Plus the lack of curvy chests would make some of the tops … odd. RL I am a very flat chested woman and I’ve always had an issue with clothing cut to accommodate flesh I don’t have.

• various alcoholic beverage containers that can be used as town clothes toys (beer mug, wine bottle, ect)
• New dances/emotes (permanent)
• more instruments like electric guitars (ala charr styel ) drum sets, ect
• bonus packs for lore nerds similar to bonus mission packs in GW1!

While we’re wishing, I’d like a mesmer-themed gathering tool that spawns a phantasm that mines/chops for you. Actually handling some grubby tool to mine ore or chop trees down yourself like a common peasant is so demeaning.

Customizations for the Hall of Monuments.

I think it would be fun to treat the Hall of Monuments instance like our own fortress of solitude. Even people who don’t have the HoM linked back to GW should be able to unlock the HoM instance and customize it with player housing-type items.

The only change that would need to be made would be allowing you to bring a party inside to show off, and guests obviously shouldn’t be able to access the reward merchant or tame the various animals.

Racial Dance Lessons …

So any race can do any dance.

1. More exclusives in the Hair/Makeover kits. New hairstyles, new accessory/skin/pattern/etc colors, new faces, new customization options overall. Maybe kits for specific changes that would be too silly to waste a whole kit on, but would still generate revenue from people not inclined to buy a full kit just to change the color of their character’s eyes, etc.

2. A one-use item that would remove the soulbinding on an item and make it return to its original state or even just make it account bound.

3. Something similar that would work to remove a dye from one character and allow it to be learned by another one on the same account. (I am actually opposed to dyes being account-bound, though.)

4. Some way to transmute town-clothes into PVE wear. My engineer needs to be able to menace all quaggans by wearing the skin of a pink quaggan with a bow on her head as she battles.

5. I agree with tons of other suggestions, but particularly the ability to make larger customized arena fights; perhaps up to 30v30. It’s clearly a thing people want.

Permanent Trainer Contract, or maybe a re-trainer item similar to that of the Salvage-o-Matic; allowing for the gold sink to still remain.

Re-trait on demand is potentially game breaking imo, and I hope it never happens. Since every class can potentially fill any role anyway having the ability to swap mid dungeon makes already trivial content even more trivial.

I understand your concern, as it’s an unusual game feature, but the original GW allowed you to change traits and skills at will while you were in town, and then they became locked once you went into a zone or mission. It was one of the best aspects of the original game.

Then again, the original game had far more strategy and depth to build-crafting, overall, which has been kittenized into a gold sink and downplayed through very limited build variety in GW2.

I’m not even sure the consumable re-trait item they just added to the gem store will be useful, honestly.

I like that you added new hair styles. Some of them are really nice.

And here comes the BUT… why can’t we just unlock them account-wide?

Like: 3 new hairstyles for xyz gems! Then they are unlocked for the entire account and can be used as much as we want to.

Well, this would work the best, if you change the “styling options” a bit.

1. We create a character and if it is our first character we only will have the standard options.

2. Then we have the option to unlock new colours and styles and whatever (eg. tattoos, horns, etc.) account-wide by buying them directly from the gem shop. They will be instantly added to the character creation styling menu. (And here it comes, if you let us buy them directly and they will stay forever, they can cost some gems.. that’s for sure.)

3. When creating a new character we now have these unlocked options included.

For our existing characters there could be two options to get a makeover:
a) we would still have to buy the makeover kits with gems (but much cheaper to fit the unlocking costs.. something like 50 gems per makeover?)

b) we can visit a stylist that grants us free access to the standard and unlocked stylings, but if we do not already have unlocked the new styles we only have the standard choices (this stylist could be there for free OR if you want to earn some cash we could also pay once to unlock him account-wide OR hire him for a small fee (gems or silver/ gold) for a certain period of time, etc..)

Don’t make greedy decisions, make the wise ones that keeps you players interested. ^^

People that have the permanent access to the makeover still have the advantage that they can use it whenever and where they want to. (And I am not sure, but does this styling kit update automatically with the new styles? That’s a huge advantage because they then don’t have to buy or unlock them. ^^)

You don’t think people will pay for content? That’s the model I loved from GW1 — buy the content, play it forever.

In GW2 I get the content for free, but it’s not the same quality as if I had to pay for it (sounds like an old adage). As to why it’s lower quality would probably be a good discussion, but my opinion is that the content is designed to keep you busy while supporting the gem shop. Quite the opposite of what I personally as a Player wanted.

Pay walls divide the community, roping off part of the game to those who pay is bad.

Now if they ever come out with a paid expansion then yes, that expansion could be in the gem shop but offering individual classes, new areas or dungeons is like going to an amusement part where all the new rides have an additional cost over the entrance fee.
