I understand the impulse purchase marketing strategy, but it is just one possible strategy and there are so many better marketing strategies that don’t leave a sour taste or punish the player base.

Personally I find impulse-time-limited marketing distasteful and underhanded and I won’t support it.
If they open up the gem store, I will gladly purchase the stuff I want, but if Anet only offers the stuff I want in a time limited way then I can live without a new skin and there are other games that I play whose honest marketing strategies I am happy to support.

Id love the option to gift someone living story chapters. There are plenty of returning people who will feel gated by the idea of buying content for their story.

Id imagine a living story ticket which could be gifted to a player which could then unlock any one chapter. In theory its a win win situation. Anet gets money, more players potentially to play the game, and gifters get a warm fuzzy feeling inside!!

I was just thinking this same thing yesterday. Going through the outfits I realized that a witch outfit would lok cool for my necro, and since i was on vacation during halloween, I cannot get it for another year (if ever)….

Could we see the return if the aviators glasses please? It was removed before I started playing so I never got a chance to get them. Even 800 gems is fine

I apologise if this was mention already (I haven’t got time to read all 34 pages!) but I want to see an extreme/ ultimate makeover time which this version allow you to change your character race! I regret making a Charr guardian instead of an Asura and having a Asura engineer instead of a Charr and also a Norn Warrior instead of a Norn Nercomancer!

Yes I know I can just delete and create a new characters but come on, my characters were created on release day and I ain’t got time to travel them everywhere in Tyria!

I know they will never make the said item given to the choices we made in the first part of the stories (personal story) unless that progress was just a quick button click on the decisions to take.

Festive Faren makes me renew my interest in swimsuit outfits, though I’d much rather they were armor pieces and had several variations of look. Or else as outfits (thus saving having to find bag space for gear) they should have a few choices and cost much less each.

Town clothes did have the option of not having anything on but still being able to toggle to them. (Side request — an out of combat visibility toggle on weapons would be wonderful. One issue with outfits is that unlike town clothes, our weapons still show, which rather detracts from a civilian garment like Noble Count).

I’ve got a pending RP involving diving in a tropical lagoon and it would be lovely to be able to dress appropriately.

I would like to see shortcut tabs for equipment and trait builds for sale so that armor, weapons, trinkets, and traits can be saved as a favorite build macro button.

- More armor suited for Charr and Asura. A huge amount of skins in this game are made for humans, which hurts the people who like the other races, even though I understand it probably takes more effort to design non human skins.

To be fair we have been able to manage for over 2 years without those things, so calling them “vitally important features” seem a bit extreme.
It is very much a convenience, which is exactly what should be in the gem-store.

Less RNG items like the last added nodes or the BLC weapons and more 100% sure to obtain items.

Maybe some new pvp game mod or more pve content !

Skritt Backpack please. Maybe a talking one, maybe just one like a Quaggan backpack.

I also had a dream last night that there was a life-size doll that you can buy off the Gem Store, one that you can throw on the floor and then do your finisher on it to show off your finishers in PvE.

It’s Tuesday, I expected one today. I guess it’s on hiatus for the Holiday period. Likely to see an update next Tuesday, I imagine.

More armor sets, all the outfits releases I am being slapped with is extremely depressing.
More non trenchcoat medium armor like the glorious armor sets. (especially for Asura)
or maybe a option to have shorter coat of all the style we have currently.
Alternate animations for idle and movement.
Makeup or face paint, in their own separate slot.
Morphable hairstyles.
Projectile and weapon effects attachable to any weapons.
Elite skill alternate effects or skins.

So much this one!!! Just thought about it the other day as I browsed through the minipet list and saw the small animals. I have 2 corgis and well ahh … Just Google: welch corgi pembroke and welch corgi cardigan and see for yourself. IMO pembroke’s are the cutest though

Transformation tonics that are useable in combat and last an hour with no cooldown.

Guild Wars 1 had these tonics. A whole party of identical Joras or Gwens (for example) could go out and do dungeons/quests/mapping/whatever. They were innocent, light hearted fun that’s not available in this game.

Just extending the time on the WatchKnight Tonic to an hour and removing the cooldown would be a good start as that item is pretty much useless the way it is now.

Things I’d pay for:

• Account-to-account transfers (my dad had someone try out the game on his account, promptly got them hooked but they couldn’t get their 30-something char off the account).
• Character profession change.
• An item to silence Job-o-tron.

Put gathering tools both as one by one and as a bundle,helps people who would like 1 item of a specific group, and put some bonus items to all gathering tools.Watchwork mining pick is OP as hell and the rest of us who bought something else get nothing in return.

I haven’t read this whole thread so excuse me if I repeat some stuff:

- Skin for pets. Also it would be fun to give my pets armor, small back pieces, collars, etc. Make them personal.

- I would pay for my pet to not be a juvenile anymore :P I want my massive wolf or boar please!

- More voice options for character.

- I don’t know how to explain this so sorry if I confuse anyone. I was thinking that if you spend X amount of gems at the gem store each month then players should recieve black lion claim tickets or ticket scraps. I’m really tired of spending so muckittens and get ZERO black lion ticket scraps from the chests :< I know its gamble but I would really like another way to get dem scraps!

- Mini pets of the dragons and their champs!

- Race change!!!
