hope tribal set isnt re-released tbh, it was a pain to get and farm after.
and its nice to have something that makes you stand out as an old PvPer.
anet will prob make it into a reward track and make it easy peasy to farm for at this rate.
honestly maybe instead of a re release of an old armor maybe release another version of it thats better and more updated for new pvpers and leave the old one where it’s at.

I’m really hoping the Winter Solstice outfit gets returned. I know this was in the gem store recently, but I was absent for it. I’d really like to get it for a good friend of mine. She really enjoys it’s appearance.

Oddly, the black wings had a timer yesterday of “2 more days!” when everything else was “3 more days!” — so maybe they get rotated out on Monday and the white ones come in? Purely speculation on my part, but keep an eye open.

I did the same with Phalanx armor. Was too busy with the pvp leagues and didn’t check the Gem store for a few days and missed them, gutted isn’t the word.

Honestly I’m surprised aviator sunglasses weren’t a part of the recent month-long sale. They were requested a ton in that dev-replied thread asking what we wanted in the gem store.

I was surprised and sad it was part of the month long sale also. I have a few toons that would look great with them.

Anyone got any super secret tips or “heard it through the grapevine” type things of when the Phalanx Heavy armor might be possibly maybe coming back to the gem store? Those female leggings……so sexy!

There’s really no telling when it’ll be back. Anet doesn’t usually tell us when things will return, and while you can make some general predictions around holidays and the game’s anniversary, most sales are pretty unpredictable. Sorry!

I love this skin. I bought gems back in the day to immediately get the chest skin and combine it with Aetherblade leggings, cultural shoulders and draconic gloves. These go so well together. Yes I’m crazy for getting whole skin sets just to use one piece out of each, but it’s my virtual barby doll we’re talking about here.

The next big change of gemstore stuff should be somewhere around September (there are two big sets of style goods, that change back and forth every half a year). If i remember it right, Phalanx is part of those seasonal sales.

That’s not quite true, they change it every 3 months or so. If you look at the gem store you’ll notice the Rampagers heavy armor is no longer there, though the other armor sets that came out the same time are.

I too am waiting. I really want the Phalanx armor to finish my guardians look. Who at ANet do I have to beg?

Phalanx Armor isn’t an outfit, it is a set of six armor pieces (in skin form, piece by piece). They’ve changed their old ways, so they no longer design new armor sets for gem store sales, but the old ones can still appear now and then.

I still didn’t get my gobbler or witches hat :c. I know they’re Halloween items but they haven’t been seen for a while. Surprised they never did witches hat along with the wizard during the month thing.
