Guild Wars 2

I’ve just re-checked the itens included on Gw2 buy pack (only to confirm wich features separate deluxe from commom) and noticed that both packs rewards with one choice of priemeval, Profane or Krytan armor to your character.

This is a feature only for new customers? Or I’ve lost some information when I bought the game? I’ve bought digital deluxe edition on release, But I only got thome of influence, chalice of glory, wolf skil and Rytlock.

I know I can buy then out of TP, but I want to know about this packed-game one.

They don’t get the stuff you got either. It’s a different package, different stuff. Nice thing is that it’s at the basic price, so hopefully it’ll help at least a little with enticing new players.

They seem to offer these perks during/after free trial weekends to help encourage sales.

It’s meant to lure in new customers.

It’s like signing up for a gym membership and they give you all these nice perks

5 months down the line they release new perks for new customers, but they are not meant for you.

IIRC, originally it was only for new customers, but ppl on the forums whined, so anet made it a free gemstore item. This time around they are including something that current players can already get.

What you got, OP, was 11 months and 20+ days Headstart over those buying the Heroic Edition, (whether Regular or Digital Deluxe). =)

So I played the kitten out of GW1 and my reward is then given to every noob who buys the game new. Dissapointing.

Although the fact that they only get 1 set and I have it on tap whenever I like for all my chars is kinda nice. NM I’m over it…

No, it isn’t the same as heritage armour. It’s a free copy of (one of) the first Gem Store armour skins.

First off you must play a necromancer, skilled at thread necromancy to be sure.

Second, HoM reward armor is NOT what they get. If there was any other means to gaining HoM armor I would have it. However I stopped playing GW1 just before EotN was released and I don’t care to play that game just to get some rewards in this game.

Eh, compared to this, the only thing I’d be jealous of is the mithril box. But after almost one year of playing, I’m pretty sure I can make all the 18 slot bags I’ll need. I won’t miss it. :/

I personally don’t like the armor skins (but I understand why people would be annoyed if they did like it). Besides, I thought they released them in the gem store before, so aren’t they not as rare anyway?

The ones offered there have been on the gem store from release day for 500 gems
