Is it just me or does Sunrise look much different when being previewed.
I can see the sunrise colours but they’re all just blurred and look terrible

It can’t be to do with my computer I’ve concluded since Sunrise looks as it should when being worn by other people, but since I’m nearly done crafting it I would really like to know that someone else has this problem too

Thanks

how about some screen shots so we can see what you mean?

Check your graphic settings as the preview window tends to use higher graphics than what you’ve set for the game.

I think it’s because you can’t move the camera around (and if you rotate the character it doesn’t change the image on the sword) which means you can only see one part of the image.

It took me a really long time to understand why so many people like Sunrise and Twilight because I normally play with my camera zoomed all the way out and overhead and from that angle Sunrise looks blurry red with some fuzzy lines and Twilight is blurry red/black. (As in the screenshot below, where I conveniently found someone wearing Sunrise right by the bank.)

I finally got it when I was playing my asura and a waypoint dropped me right next to a norn holding Sunrise with the camera at just the right angle that I could see the blue sky at the top of the image. I actually said, out loud “Oh! It’s got the whole sky in it!” and then spent a few minutes moving my camera around looking at it. (I assume the norn was AKF.)

You really can’t get the full effect unless you’re close up and either the camera or the sword is moving around so you can see it from different angles, preferably in motion.
