Sunrise or Twilight?

I think I would go with Sunrise. I like everything to be more green and alive than dead so Sunrise would Win over Twilight. I would then get Bolt for my second Legendary.

I got Sunrise, so I’m biased in opinion. However Sunrise is a lot brighter and has a greater spectrum of colors (deep red – bright yellow – light blue sky). Also sunrise really looks amazing at night as the contrasting bright colors illuminate against the darker background.
i crafted sunrise, lot of colors and fits with lot of dye combos. i tried abyss, dust, black, silver, gold, blue ice and so on, at the moment im using a mix of earthen/gold that i really enjoy (on t3, human mesmer). i love to change colors to fit the sword, which means its a good investment.
i will probably go for twilight in the future, both are amazing swords and its only a matter of personal taste, you’ll find something special about one of them, for me it was the sky as you see it in the wiki page.
I’m working towards Sunrise right now… I’ve been in love with that skin ever since I first saw it. I’ve wavered a bit on my decision here and there because I kind of like the dark swinging effect on Twilight more, but the hilt on Sunrise is just so gorgeous that I am not changing my mind again!
Sunrise.
Twilight is only red and black. Sunrise can be like every color.
Sunrise
While Twilight has an awesome space panorama, the colors and theme of sunrise better fits my character.
Nemata Sapshield – Dragonhunter
Lillian Estre – Tempest
Sunrise. Everyone and their mother has twilight, also red and black isnt exactly unique, and limits what colors will look good on your armor.

Neither, since everyone and their mother got Twilight or Sunrise.
I want Flameseeker Prophecies.

Personally I see the opposite, I think there are more Sunrise than Twilight. And while they’re really the most common legendary, they are not as common as some people think in general. It’s not like I see them everywhere, just occasionally 1-2 a day. People who are saying “Legendary GS are just too mainstream” are basicly just jealous, for some reason they don’t have problems with CoF armor which is 10000 times more common than Twilight or Sunrise.
As for which is better for me, I don’t really know. Sunrise is interesting because it has more color shades, but personally I don’t like those colors (at least some of them). Atm I’m going for Twilight coz I prefer the dark feel. I wouldn’t mind though if they tweaked it a little, like reducing the black color’s intensity a little bit and give some new color shades, like yellowish to represent the starry night. Or just make the red and bluish color a bit more intense.
Volcanus.

Sunrise i dont think the black trails from Twilight looks that good also after the last update sunrise is just perfection…
honestly id go with Eternity because here is why
1. it has both sword effects of both legendarys
2. the handle changes depending on the time
3. the weapon (blade changes as well)
however there are no foot steps and there are still known bugs with the blade changes.
so i love both legendarys they both have their different feel to them for the character im making eternity for my mesmer has midnight purple and gold so eather weapon looks good on him.
Sunrise. It fits my character better, and I love the colours.
Twilight is too dark for me, kinda needs black gear match it, which I don’t really like…

My mum doesn’t have twilight but I do.
I haven’t seen anything especially neat about the Sunrise special effects. It just looks like another glowing sword to me. The deep space effect in the blade of Twilight is AWESOME. Love it! Like the portals from the Mad King’s Realm.
But the LOOKS of each sword, with their undefined edge, and the not-pointy, toy-pirate-sword tip are not for me. And I totally DESPISE oversized weapons and armors. I need a little more realism in that respect, although I also understand that you need a broad weapon to show as much of the sky as possible. The effects would probably have been better on a shield.
So for peering into the blade, I prefer Twilight, but hate the look of both weapons. But Twilight has an inherent curse because of the name. I don’t wish to be hounded by a bunch of Twi-Hards screaming about “Team Edward” and “Team Jacob”.
Set a man on fire, and he’ll be warm the rest of his life.

Twilight, because I love the movie (KIDDING!!!!!)
I like the red and black, and on sunrise I never see more than white, blue and yellow. So maybe I just haven’t observed enough, never been interested in Legendary weapons.
