Yeah I was wondering the same thing. That was definitely the best, most enjoyable part of the game for me.

The SAB was a very popular event, and highly doubt that ANet is done with it just yet. Just keep your eyes pealed.

There’s clearly a deeper story to SAB, given what happened last time and the short story they posted on the main site during that same release.

Give it time. I’m sure they’ll bring it back sooner or later

Well, the first SAB was very popular. World Two was loudly hated on the forums.

People rant about things they don’t like on here and then they act all shocked when ANet goes “welp, guess we won’t do that again.”

Not really. If A.Net listened to whiners – we would have mounts, a tonic to level automatically to 80, and a lot of other nonsense.

SAB was the only Living World update I almost completely ignored.

The whole mechanic of entering and earning coins was too convoluted to make sense, the progression too non-intuitive and very focused on trial & error.

I like jumping puzzles, but only in short sprints. SAB was like one overly long, frustrating jumping puzzle with Achievements and mechanics that weren’t obvious to the uninitiated.

Ok for a permanent addition when you can progress at your own pace, but not ok for a 2 week, limited-time, content update.

Super Adventure Box was a great addition to the game, unique and fun. The levels were the perfect length and it had a lovely Zelda feel about it all.

Back to School was a mess, the learning curve was too steep, the traps and various trollish mechanics only served to make the whole experience frustrating and unpleasant. Tribulation mode was fine as is, for those that liked it, but normal mode needs work to make it casual friendly and fun, the level length alone made the whole thing a chore.

They should bring it back but fix the issues with world two and include a reason to play it beyond SAB related rewards.

It should come back and stay perm imo. I mean…did we spend money on something that cannot be used?

It’s rather easier to NOT create content than it is to develop an entirely new thing. Apples and oranges, as they say.

I still find it funny that their most enjoyable game addition to date was just a hobby project done by one of the programmers.

Anet already stated that will exist 4 world in total, so we’ll se a 3rd one soon.

BUT, what was mean to be an Aprils fool, got very popular, and now it is tied to Living story (Search for the blogpost history), so it’ll be back when it happens to tie with the living world.

Also, after all 4 worlds got released, it very possible that SAB will become permanent. Be patient, it’ll surely be back, and probably soon.
