given its not permanent will you also remove certain fractals and spvp maps and reintroduce them for limited times and see how that works out because clearly people who like doing activities have more fun when they aren’t in the game….

So far my friends and I have found coins in chests and only chests with no rhyme or reason to what will and wont give a coin so long as it is a chest. We did a bunch of jumping puzzles and some mini dungeons.

So, there’s already way too much out there for this to be an April Fool’s thing, but can you imagine if they built all this up — screenshots, weapons, fake maps and information leaks — just so we all excitedly jump into the “Super Adventure Box” and immediately fall into a pit of spikes and die?

I would be sad, but it would also be the greatest prank ever.

Did (Pirate and grotto in LA, asura and troll in Caledon, the one in Diessa, the 2 in Malchor, in Cursed Shore, the easy one in Southsun, the one in Mount Maelstrom) and got…2 coins.

Hmm, thats disappointing that the box isn’t going to be permanent (especially when there are sooo many achievements for it). I really hope they reconsider and leave it there permanently.
Still haven’t found a coin myself.

i doubt they would have their artist make models for the super weapons (which are already implemented in the spvp locker) if it was just a prank. seems like way too much wasted effort.

If this is the new large multi-layered JP that’s been promoted in other threads, I really thought it was at least going to be a permanent addition to the game. I’m all for holiday events and all, but adding content, then taking it away feels like you’re being rushed to experience it all, and if you don’t want to play it over and over, well then tough luck, cause you’ll never see it again. I really don’t like that.

I hope they decide to make it a permanent addition to the game.

I observe that JP chests have higher chance of dropping continue coins. I have a total of 5 for now.

Are the coins still dropping? Ran 4 jumping puzzles and no coins.

It is going to be cyclical, meaning that it will go away after a short while, but will come back (when new additions are made to it). Source here

Coins are just a strange, strange drop rate.

Yesterday I got 13 coins. Today, I got 3. In retrospect, a fellow guildy got 2 coins yesterday and 12 coins today. Both of those numbers are just from our main characters.

And before anyone asks, Ethereal Guardians [EG] on Sanctum of Rall has been doing an impromptu Guild Events of our own the past two days. Guild Jumping Puzzle Zergs hitting multiple different JPs all across Tyria. Its part of why I and my fellow guildy have that many so far, not to mention an unknown number of others in our guild. I doubt we are holding the most number of coins individually, but ‘eh. At least we won’t suddenly have the Super Adventure Box out and suddenly start trying to do all the JPs in hopes of finding a lone coin to get back in with the potential time limit on things.

The sad thing? Some guildies have gotten 0 to 4 tokens despite all the jumping puzzles done these past two days.

All I know is that I’m looking forward to whatever JP challenge Josh Foreman has planned, as well as the rewards!

I did the 3 JPs in Lions Arch on each of my 8 toons, and I believe I have a total of 9 coins. Based on my extremely small sample size, it seems the drop rate is about 33%. However, I also did a number of the boss events and didn’t get any from those, so perhaps JP chests have a higher drop rate than other chests.

looks like the super fun box is not activated for now, so ppl can stack on coins for now and then use in the “arcade” super fun box later when its open,
also check out how the controller looks on next to the fun box lol its just like a Nintendo controller
add to that the game sound when u change ur computer date into Apr 1st, its ether a fools day joke or some really super awesome game.
