Is there any plan on implementing a way to get these that do not imply cutting an arm off and sell it at the asura market? Or at least an alternative that do not involve going through RNG with the MF or massive grind for that gold?!

They are the new hot rune, they were 7g yesterday. I am guessing someone bought up alot of them and drove up the prices on purpose if that really is there cost now.

Give it a month or two they will drop in price over time.

Rune of the Traveller is pretty well mandatory for some classes in WvW. That’s why it’s so very desirable, hence expensive.
(Rune of Speed is supposed to do the same job but it’s broken)

Actually, the 6th bonus has tons of use.

In some cases, the Swiftness skills mean having to pick a specific offhand or swap weapon. In others, it means taking a Signet as a utility or a runspeed trait. In all of those cases, the 6th bonus on Rune of Traveler can be a complete game changer.

Not to mention that there are classes that have notoriously bad access to Swiftness to begin with.

Losing your runes is a pretty big price to pay for permanent 25% movespeed. This is pretty much the sweet spot for runes, IMO.

It’s a choice. Most classes can choose to give something else up in exchange for perma swiftness, the other 2 cannot. It’s not right.

But they run so very painfully slow without it. The game drags without that perma 25% boost.

My Omega Golem is super fast with 6 of these awesome runes. And the fact that they’re so in demand, flipping them makes me good money (and tons of Dark Matter!)
