Superior Rune of the Traveler, which used to be the magic find rune with a 5% movement bonus now has a 25% movement bonus. Very nice for my Mesmer who is always getting left behind.

It got me wondering if the movement bonus would stack with my Thief or Ranger and their signet movement bonuses? Can anyone confirm?

I can’t see ANet alowing 50% movement as you can have that as it is on the Thief when stealthed.

Anyway I too have the Runes on my Mesmer but the +25% movement Is not working for me at all

I have just brought a set of Superior Rune’s of Speed, the +25% movement is the same as the Traveler Rune’s in that my Mesmer does not get the +25% movement, can anyone els confirm if there set works and what class your using them on? Thank you

YES YES YES! Traveler Rune’s +25% Movement is now working… phew, I don’t know why they wouldn’t work before other then swapping armor then back again, but still no luck with the Rune’s of Speed! My Mesmer has come alive)

As far as I know, Swiftness boons do not stack in intensity.

‘Other effects that provide a bonus to movement speed (e.g. certain traits and signets) do not stack with swiftness; only the highest increase in movement speed will be applied.’

Wait, I was buying these up b/c they should be close in price to divinity runes (b/c people will take 1 of these and 5 divinity), but also wanted to use 6 for the +25%. If that doesn’t work, I am sad panda! Maybe it will get fixed…

Can anyone confirm/deny that the #6 does/doesn’t work without other speed buffs.

yeah it was pretty dumb of them to make the #1 bonus == divinity.

Where can you get these runes besides off the TP?

it works on my mesmer, i couldn’t even dream to run that fast on it, i almost cryed

i just want to know whether this is intended and not a mistake by ANET. +25% movement speed, permanent, is a very good rune bonus indeed. i want to know whether ANET will later nerf it to something else like +20% swiftness duration…. it is considerably a very expensive run, and i don’ want to buy now only later to find out ANET nerf it….

we need ANET response on this….

yeah like they told you they were going to change traits once you were geared up already for builds that no longer exist.
i spent more money and regret it in this game than in everything else i played so far… and maybe even in real life.
oh and in the super adventure box, it doesn’t really matters what you wear…

any one know if u can craft the Superior Runeof the Traveler? or only from Tp?

only from tp, loot or mystic forge as far as i know if it was craftable it would cost 0 copper like every other rune craftable out there
