Dear Anet,

I really like the Pact Commander line mastery, and I love the idea of an NPC going around the world everyday, traveling and offering their services to us, but there’s just a few things I’ve noticed that I see as problems, and I believe could be improved on.

Problems & Solutions

1) The merchants don’t have any unique map icons to show their location or who they are

2) Perhaps make it like Nicolas the Traveler from GW1 – where the NPC remains stationary at 1 particular place (by stationary I mean they don’t walk from one place to another, or do a lap around the map). However, their map location (kessex hills, dry top, lions arch, etc.) changes every day.

3) As it is now, it’s hard to keep track of who is a merchant, and who is not, when they blend in so well to other NPC’s. A solution to this would be to just keep it as 1 NPC so it doesn’t cause any confusion. I would highly recommend bringing Nicolas the Traveler back as the trader/traveller/agent/merchant/npc/whatever you want to call it :-)

4) I feel these merchants need to offer more reward options. For example, if what the merchant was offering for trade that day wasn’t up to your liking, you could, instead, purchase a ’Traveler’s Gift’ for 5000 karma. This gift would be an item that, when double-clicked on, opens up an interface to provide a range of rewards to choose from.

New rewards could be:

Maguuma Jungle currencies (Airship Parts, Lumps of Aurillium, Ley Line Crystals)
Spirit Shards
Obsidian Shards
Dragonite Ore
Bloodstone Dust
Empyreal Fragments
Box of WvW Supplies (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Box_of_WvW_Supplies)
Bag of Educational Supplies (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bag_of_Educational_Supplies)

Perhaps even Badges of Honor, Dungeon tokens, Fractal Relics, and Laurels??? It’s really up to Anet.

Anyway thanks for taking the time to read, and PLEASE bring back Nicolas the Traveler

Forever a supporter of more male skimpy armor
