Why is this even allowed? Why do you block me from writing what the group is about on the LFG tool?

Where is the logic in that?

Remove this please, it makes ZERO sense.

I believe he is talking about how if you make a group too many times ina row on the lfg it suppresses you for a time.

I complained about this a while back; the functionality is stupid. You can still ‘advertise your party’ in the tool for others to join, but the description is suppressed so no one can see what the group is for.

A lot of the suppression in this game is nonsense. LFG and mail are probably the two biggest offenders.

Mail is there to prevent scammers from profiting too much. There were a whole string of fake scam mails that were showing up just recently; imagine if they had unbridled access to any amount of mail they wanted.

I don’t quite get why LFG has it. Maybe somebody could explain Anet’s rationale for that one. Being limited to the LFG tool, it’s out of the way unlike personal mail.

Yes, this.

I was forced to make the group 3 times because some kitten would keep joining me and then leaving the party right before, thus closing/removing the LFG.

A better solution would be to stop lfg from removing your group just because one troll keeps joining and leaving.

90% of the problems are caused by that.

The other 10% is when you are taxiing people in too often, which can be avoided by varying your messages. Instead of SW 80%, try SW 4/4 or 80% 4/4. Cycle through those and you won’t get locked out.
