Guild Wars 2

My survivalist stream (http://www.twitch.tv/wickedrhythm) has been up for a few days and I’ve had some traffic through it but nothing too noteworthy. For everyone who doesn’t know, the point of the stream is to reach 100% map completion with no deaths, no crafting, and no using the trading post.

I was hoping to get some more feedback on what potential viewers would like to see. My character is “Ixl Evey Ixl” (that’s spelled eye-ex-el) and I’m on the server Sanctum of Rall. I created a Human Thief (by viewer request) and things are going smooth so far.

Some questions I’d have for you are:

1. Should crafting be banned until 100% map completion is done or just until I hit 80? (Is no crafting to avoid the leveling benefits or to keep items out of my hands?)

2. Should completing the story line also be a part of the challenge? Jumping puzzles? Dungeons?

Anyone interested in making things difficult for me, please give me any suggestions you think are fair and challenging. Feel free to also follow the stream and check in from time to time or review my past recordings to make sure I’m not cheating.

You have to remake character when you die.

Complete all temples in orr.

Finish personal story.

As for crafting, you are not allowed to craft exotic gear.

Fair? Hmm, maybe not:D

And you have to have 0 deaths, when you type /deaths ofc^^

So far I have resorted to no crafting at all until after I hit 100% map completion.

I absolutely delete the character if I die. I give everything away first of course (including gold and anything in my bank!).

Personal story completion is a go.

No deaths…as a survivor should!

What about WvW? Could be a pain to do those maps without deaths.

When you factor in people being aware of my goals and hoping to ruin it, this is quite true. I see it as another part of the challenge though.

Quick question to would-be viewers, do you think it should be okay to use boosters or food? I haven’t yet and I imagine people would say that they are banned for the challenge, but an official community ruling for me would make my decision easier to make. I’m leaning toward no though. I’m also assuming using Laurel’s to get high-end gear is in the crafting bin (that would also be a negative).

If it’s in the game and part of said game it’s use-able, IMO.
