My Sweet FX doesn’t seem to be working anymore. Anyone else experiencing this, or is it just something bugged on my end?
Yeah, a friend and I are having the same issue. This sometimes happens after a patch, anybody know of a fix yet?
my sweetfx is still fine.
Did you use 32-bit? it’s auto change to 64-bit now so that may be the reason. but you can fix it easily.
some guide here https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/4jrx10/64bit_client_faq_getting_addons_working_again_and/
Mine just disabled and acted as if I’d never used it before – started Overwolf back up and “installed” it again and now it seems to work fine.
I added the -32 switch and Sweet FX is working again. Must not like 64 bit.
it’s just 32 and 64 bit use 2 different folders. You just need the correct files in the correct folders.
but yeah going back to 32bit works

This worked, thanks! I can’t live without SweetFX, lol.
Not sure on SweetFX, but if it’s like Reshade, you need to download the 64bit .dll for it. Then paste it into your bin64 folder in your Guild Wars 2 folder.
Like for instance, with Reshade, it has a Reshade32.dll and a Reshade64.dll. Use the Reshade64.dll and rename it to d3d9.dll instead. Then delete your old .dll and replace it with the new one. And don’t forget to paste your files into the bin64 folder instead of the bin folder now.
That should get it to work with the 64bit client, without having to downgrade yourself to the 32bit client.
