Hey,

Does using programs like sweetfx which only enchant graphic allowed by rules?
I would like to try some extra sharpness.

AFAIK since it doesn’t modify the game’s memory, but simply post-processes the already generated (video) images, it is allowed.

At least I haven’t ever heard of anyone being banned for using it.

You’re unlikely to get an official answer, because they don’t want to get into approving/denying any number of third-party applications, but I think the general rule is that if it gives you an in-game advantage, you shouldn’t use it.

Generally, I personally wouldn’t call extra sharpness and such a meaningful advantage.

SweetFX is not changing any of the game files, nor does it affect gameplay in any way, so I’d say there shouldn’t be a problem with using it.

Afaik its allowed to use.
