Guild Wars 2

Hey everybody. Thought i’d start here to check and see what the input is from others are.
My friend is interested in playing GW2!!
I currently run it and they’d like to join me. The problem is their computer isn’t top notch… it’s also a laptop.
I did check the minimum system req. to play but wasn’t able to find a list of graphics cards to really check and see if my friends graphic card met the standards.

Their comp has:
Windows 7
amd a4-3320m apu with radeon™ hd graphics driver 2.00 GHz
4.00GB of RAM

On the windows experience guide it’s rated 4.6
My laptop runs the game great with medium settings with a 5.9
but i also have an intel core i7 and 8gb of ram.

Anyways I attached her comp specs as well in case you see something I don’t.

The goal is to see if she can even run the program on low-medium settings. We thought we’d take advantage of the game being so cheap right now!

That’s how I purchased my laptop for GW2.

Intel i7 and 8Gb ram is good… the photo of the specs you attached are really going to run the game pretty bad even on low setting

Well, I only have a Quad-Core and Radeon 7640G, and I have no problems with the game or graphics. I use High settings, but not Ultra. I do have lower FPS in large zergs, but I think many people do. You can always avoid those, though you don’t really need great FPS when zerging a boss. Lol, everyone says you only auto-attack and walk away, anyway.

I play a bit of WvW, but usually not with a zerg.

You could always copy your .dat file, install it on her computer, and log into your account to find out how the game plays.

5.9 is actually bad unless it’s the hard drive holding it back from 7+

my computer has 7+ other than hard drive and it was mid range 3 years ago.
