Right so ever since the spoon collection has come out all i ever get from tequatl is a spoon whenever i do it i get a spoon and some rares im tired of this the spoon rate for the major bosses such as tequatl needs to be nerfed its rediculous that i cant even bring myself to go do tequatl anymore because i know all im getting out of it is a spoon

I don’t see how nerfing the spoon rate for teq would help- the rest wouldn’t drop more frequently (unless you buff their drop rates at the same time). Personally, I don’t do teq every day and just do it when I feel like it so I am always excited to see what I get drop, even if it is a spoon, it is ten silver you wouldn’t have had otherwise. I would suggest you do the same- don’t grind and only do tequatl’s if you are finding it fun. That way you won’t burn out.

No I want the spoon its much better then the 2s 16c rune or the 3s 30c accessory

Honestly lighten up, if it was unsellable I could see your angst, but you can sell it.. hell get 10 of them and sell em for a cool 1 gold. Also as far as we know these spoons were added to the treasure table and did not replace anything so just enjoy your free 10 silver.

I can’t find a source for it now but I read somewhere that the way it works is if you don’t get another exotic drop you get the spoon. So it’s not (as many people fear) preventing you from getting other exotics, but every time you don’t get one (which is most of the time) you’re guaranteed a spoon.

Which means that taking it out, or reducing the drop rate wouldn’t change anything except your chance of getting a spoon. You wouldn’t get more exotics, or rares, or anything else, you’d just loose a spoon and therefore 10 silver.

While the item rarity says exotic it is a trophy, not a true exotic such as a piece of gear. If it replaces anything at all it should replace an item in the same category group, or as above, it’s a consolation prize if you don’t get an exotic as a drop.
